Worthing Borough Council says a recent software purchase will put it in a much stronger position to meet the Transparency Agenda, which obliges Town Halls to put all transactions above £500 in value in the public domain. As well as its own website, the council is also using the services of spotlightonspend which enables visitors to make easy council comparisons.
