Having already targeted key areas where they could make savings, Norfolk County Council were faced with the problem of trying to identify further areas where savings could be implemented.

Using the Observatory, the council was able to classify all their pure trade suppliers. This helped them to re-examine their expenditure and find areas for saving that were previously hidden. In total, the Observatory has helped the council deliver savings in excess of £1.5 million each year.
