What do your suppliers think of you?

As part of their tender and bid evaluatation process it is important to many public sector organisations to understand what their suppliers think of the process. This allows them to determine how improvements could be made, for example, to support the inclusion of SME and local businesses in the tender process.

Our online research platform enables you to quickly and easily conduct periodic surveys of your suppliers and anonymously compare your responses with others who have conducted the same survey. Delivered as a managed service to our customers, the standardised online questionnaire facilitates the collection of anonymous information from your suppliers.

Once your supplier data has been extracted and transformed, we provide a simple template that enables you to collect the email addresses of the suppliers you want to include in your survey. We then upload your email addresses to the Observatory's online survey engine and manage the delivery process.  Once the data collection is complete, we analyse and present the results to you.

The survey tool allows you to answer questions such as:

  • How do your suppliers rate your tender and quotation processes relative to their other public & private sector customers?
  • What do your suppliers perceive are the barriers to bidding for contracts with you, relative to their other public & private sector customers?
